What I did: boat ride on the Ashley River in Charleston, traveled to the beach for a work conference
What I celebrated: a wedding union and Thanksgiving
What I ate: Movie Night Cookies (jury is still out if they are good or not), winter berries from the farmer's market (strawberries in November grown in solar tunnels...WUT? I'll take them!), for my vegetarian Thanksgiving- a wild mushroom and caramelized onion shepherd's pie
What I read: Life of Pi (I don't trust myself to do a review without spoilers but here's a good lesson plan site if you want to teach it)
What I made: bubble wrap advent calendar
What I heard: Delta Rae in concert
What I listened to: Christmas music (!!!) Fitz & the Tantrums "Santa Stole my Lady" (a Bigbad sanctioned song)

November was a great month, wasnt it?
Seriously though, there must be snowballs in heck right now because I actually like some of the Christmas music Smallgood has been digging up. Usually, by the first weekend in December, I want to take a sledgehammer to every speaker in every store in every mall in America, but if they all played this stuff, I might be able to get on board. Or maybe it will soon fall into the same event horizon of joy that the reiterated versions of Jingle Bells always induces. Maybe. Humbug.
BigBad, check this one out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_KiHRHwaAs
The Christians and the Pagans, Dar Williams. One of my favorite holiday songs.
