The first time I had firefly vodka I was at a rooftop bar in Charleston for my bachelorette party. Genie pretty much shoved the glass in my hand and said, "You'll like this. It tastes like sweet tea." She was absolutely right on both accounts.
I had it again at an after party at a wedding on the NC coast a few months later. And I enjoyed it again at the recent Charleston wedding. (In fact, I directed all of the legal drinking age cousins to the drink. I'm driving folks to drink...haha).
Bigbad teased me all night because I have a bottle of Firefly vodka at home that I never drink or use in mixed cocktails. I'm not sure why I don't make the drink at home. Perhaps because it's a lot more exhilarating having the cute bartender make it for you. But I'll try to get better at making these Spiked Palmers which are 1 part
Firefly sweet tea vodka and 1 part lemonade.

Oh yum! I will have to try that. My drink of choice is tattoo rum. Almost no one stocks it at their bar so I rarely get to enjoy it out on the town.
