Hidden Message Bookmark

Allison from Little Lovelies clued me into these Haunted Mansion bookmarks.  I still don't know what Haunted Mansion is.  Don't care.  The bookmarks are fabulous.  They are an especially good fit for holding my place in the book I'm reading now (The Graveyard Book by Gaiman).

After printing them out though, I realized I could use that same template to create my own bookmark with a surprise.  And since I had all the materials, it was free.  Gotta love that.  My version of the bookmark became a sort of valentine for Bigbad.

A letter sealed with a kiss, eh?

Every couple has a secret code, right?  YPASOMF is on the inside of my ring.
It came together rather easily, and I was so happy to use my scrapbook stash.  These papers and stickers were used on a layout I did for Bigbad's proposal.  Happy times.  I'm toying with the idea of going back to traditional scrapbooking.  Just to finish up some albums.

Here's more than you ever wanted to know about the Haunted Mansion... I just learned a few things here myself. :)

These are so cool! The Haunted Mansion is an attraction at Disneyland. The portrait on your original bookmark is in an elevator and grows with you as you ride down to the bottom revealing the full image. I like yours better though :)

Whitney, thanks for the explanation. I haven't been to Disney since I was three. I don't think I ventured into the Haunted Mansion. Your explanation though and the links Jen gave explains the connection with the bookmark.

Thanks for visiting!
